The Nintendo DS game Hammy Goes Nuts! stars the loveable little characters from the animated film by Dreamworks, Over the Hedge. In a totally new adventure, Hammy the squirrel teams up again with Verne the turtle, RJ the raccoon and Stella the skunk. Now they must embark on a dangerous quest into the 'burbs' to restore the signal of Hammy's beloved cable television which has broken. At the same time, they must also find a way to restore Hammy's happiness. One thing that you can be sure of is that there will be plenty of laughs to be had throughout the journey. Explore new areas of suburbia including sewers, backyards, construction sites and housing tracts, to gain revenge on Dwayne the Exterminator. Players have the choice to play as nine different characters. To help you through the game, your chosen character can be equipped with golf clubs, boomerangs, and backyard items. The four forest friends must do battle with a tool-toting handyman, a crazy cat lady and Boris, a nasty beaver, who wants to rule the forest. Over the Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts! for the Nintendo DS also takes advantage of the dual-screen display, touch screen system and lets fans relive moments from the game via a great replay feature.
