As is usually the case with DS versions of under-the-telly games, Madden NFL 09 is slightly apart from its bigger brothers, the outstanding difference being the inclusion and use of the DS stylus in the game. The Madden series has been around since 1988 and is known for its attention to detail and authenticity. This latest iteration is no exception, and there are a few bonuses for the DS owners too. Whether you're building the ultimate dynasty in Franchise Mode, battling friends and rivals in a multiplayer game, or testing your skills in the new Rec Room games, Madden NFL 09 for DS will pitch a whole bundle of Gridiron delight your way. You can take full control of the action by playing the game with the DS stylus, or using your finger using the innovative touch screen controls. You can also play the 'old school' way with the classic control method. Game modes include Season, Custom League, Tounament, Coach's Corner and Situation. Mini-games featured are Paper Football, Last Minute Miracle, Hit the Hole and Playbook Flash.
